The Increase of the Lord

After Paul would minister to a people, help them from a faith community, and build them up in the Lord, he would write back to them to encourage them, corrcct them, or guide them. Much of the New Testament is made up of these type letters.  He also had a wonderfully pleasing reflection on them many times. He did to the Thessalonica church and he told them often that he thanked God for them. He also gives them insight into how he prays for them.  Notice what he says in
I Thessalonians 3.11-13- Now may our God and Father himself, and our Lord Jesus, direct our way to you, 12 and may the Lord make you increase and abound in love for one another and for all, as we do for you, 13 so that he may establish your hearts blameless in holiness before our God and Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus with all his saints.

What a powerful prayer!  May God direct you and strengthen you to such a degree that it shows forth in the fellowship and your life.

That is my prayer for you today!  May we increase in the Lord!
