What A Shame!

I Corinthians 15.19- If in Christ we have hope in this life only, we are of all people most to be pitied.

What a shame it would be if we threw all of our spiritual eggs in one basket and was wrong! 
What a shame it would be if we trusted in a god that we could not see and fail to acknowledge he did not exist!
What a shame it would be for us to live this life disciplined to please God  only to find out we had simply lived a better life than others!


But guess what?   He lives!  Therein lies our hope.  Hope for the daily struggles of this life, but not only for this life....for all eternity.  Savor it and celebrate today! This is not all there is.

The real shame would be to miss it.
