The Christmas story is well-known and the details have been discussed, preached, and/or meditated over by most of you. To strain for a new nuance is not necessary. To learn and live from their examples is necessary. Joseph,along with Mary, was put in an unbelievable spot. What was he to do? He sought the Lord and the Lord told him. What did he do then?
Matthew 1:24-25- When Joseph woke from sleep, he did as the angel of the Lord commanded him: he took his wife, 25 but knew her not until she had given birth to a son. And he called his name Jesus
As determined as we are to know what God wants us to do, we must be just as determined to do what He shows us to do. Let's be determined today to wake up and do as the Lord tells us to do. In a different way, yes, but our obedience shall be blessed too.
