When the chief priests and elders tried to back Jesus up in a corner or catch Him in His Words, they had a hard time doing it. They could not. Out of that experience comes a telling statement in
Luke 20.26- And they were not able in the presence of the people to catch him in what he said, but marveling at his answer they became silent. (www.lifejournal.cc)
When is the last time that you marveled at the words of the Lord? When is the last time you were silent enough to hear Him?
May we quietly listen to the Lord and His Teachings every day and throughout the day. I feel sure He will marvel us to silence on a regular basis.
