Today we read Job 34 and 1 Corinthians 4-6.
Anyone that has been around football or any other sport knows that there comes a time to shut your mouth and get the job done. You can talk about what you can and will do for some long, then it is time to get it done. Notice what Paul said to the Corinthians in 4.20- For the kingdom of God does not consist in talk but in power.
In other words, what goes in football, goes in your spiritual life too. There is only so much you can talk about what you are going to do for the Lord until you do it. Don't just talk about it. Put yourself in the spiritual place for God to use you mightily!
