Today we read the book of 1 Peter. Man, we are zooming through some Scripture right now, but remember, if you have been reading all year, this is a review of the New Testament.
It's coming. Don't be threatened by it. Don't be surprised by it. Be prepared for it. The evil one is as faithful to terrorizing each day as the sun is to rising. 1 Peter 4.12 warns us to prepare- Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery trial when it comes upon you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you.
Be ready for it! Rejoice that you are not in it alone. He walks with you today.
