Drawing Near

Today we read Hebrews 9-11.

The day does not always go like you want to and things come up that can be less than expected.  I did not get to write when I wanted to, but before anything else went down today, the Lord encouraged me with the following passages:
Hebrews 10.19-25- Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence to enter the holy places by the blood of Jesus, by the new and living way that he opened for us through the curtain, that is, through his flesh, and since we have a great priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, with our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.  Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful.  And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.

Let us Draw Near to God in Prayer.  Jesus has opened the door of access.  Let's make the most of it through faithfully praying.
Let us Hold Fast in the Strength of Our Faith.  Trusting Him at His Word, let us let it reflect in our lives.
Let us Draw Near to Each Other in Worship.  Faithful commitment to the Body of Christ is something that both the Body needs and each and every Christian needs.

Let us draw near to the opportunity that God has given us in Christ.  Have a blessed day....and night.
