Today, as we continue to Prepare 90 Days for Easter (P90E), we read John 7 and Proverbs 3.5-6.
In John 7 Jesus is teaching and the Jews are amazed at how He could teach with such authority and wisdom. In his reply He states in John 7.18- The one who speaks on his own authority seeks his own glory; but the one who seeks the glory of him who sent him is true, and in him there is no falsehood.
The simple question I ask you and me today is this: When we speak, is the conversation that comes from our mouths based on our authority or on the Lord's authority? The question is answered simply in the content that we share. Is it God's truth or just our thoughts? The more we focus on His Truth in thought and conversation, the better off we will be.
Focus your mind on Him and His today and have a great day.
