Open Our Eyes

Today we read 2 Kings 6 & 7, 2 Chronicles 20, and 1 Timothy 3.

One of the challenges this week given to some of our children in Vacation Bible School was to go home and see where they could see God.  Many creative and beautiful answers came back to us the next day.

Today we read about the same thing but yet in a different manner.  Kings 6.16-17- He said, “Do not be afraid, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.” 17 Then Elisha prayed and said, “O Lord, please open his eyes that he may see.” So the Lord opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw, and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.

Oh, that God would open our eyes and our interest would be perked to see God at work in our midst!  Be sensitive today to see His Hand, hear His Voice, and envision His Army at work in our lives.
