Today we read Job 20 and Mark 3 & 4.
'Scattering seed' is an illustrative way that Christ described our sharing His Love with others and telling folks how to be forever changed by the power of salvation. Notice how He describes the effect of our 'scattering seed' in Mark 4.26-27 -And he said, “The kingdom of God is as if a man should scatter seed on the ground. 27 He sleeps and rises night and day, and the seed sprouts and grows; he knows not how.
When we scatter seed, it will produce fruit that we did not anticipate and do not understand. That is the power of God in the message of the Gospel. Scatter the message today and let's see what pops up in our tomorrows...and in our eternity.
