Today we read Ezra 7-8 and Luke 20.
Ezra was used mightily by the Lord. We gain evidence of the reason God chose to use him in
Ezra 7.10- For Ezra had set his heart to study the Law of the Lord, and to do it and to teach his statutes and rules in Israel.
Ezra loved the Word of God and studied it faithfully. God rewards such as that. God's Word is rewarding for its direction, guidance, comfort, correction, conviction, and blessing.
Make sure a steady diet of God's Word is in your life daily.
