Your Fill?

A simple question today that I hope will make you think as much as it did me.

Why do you follow the Lord?

Jesus asked such a question right after he fed them on the hill and they kept coming.  He addressed them with a blunt statement in John 6.26-  Jesus answered them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, you are seeking me, not because you saw signs, but because you ate your fill of the loaves.

Do we follow the Lord for what He does for us or for what we can do for Him?   Do we follow Him to be blessed or to be a blessing?  Do we follow Him to meet needs or have our needs met?

Frankly, it is to be for both matters.  However, it will challenge today to ponder on why you do what you do for the Lord.
