The WOW of His Love

When you think about who He is and think about who we are, it is pretty amazing how much He has done for "little ole us."  Psalm 8:3-6 (www.lifejournal.cc)- 
When I look at your heavens, the work of your fingers,
the moon and the stars, which you have set in place,
⁴ what is man that you are mindful of him,
and the son of man that you care for him?
⁵ Yet you have made him a little lower than the heavenly beings
   and crowned him with glory and honor.
⁶ You have given him dominion over the works of your hands;
you have put all things under his feet.
When you realize all God is, has done, can do, has created, is over, it will amaze you.  When you sit and ponder His Love, His Power, His Grace, His Patience, His Holiness, His Craftmanship, you cannot help but we overwhelmed.  Who are we that He would even think of us?  After creating us as the crown of His Creation, how often, in every generation, have we failed Him! 
When you move beyond us and move to  yourself, if you are honest with God about what He has given you, in spite of what you have done, it is quite amazing.
I pray today that we will be amazed by the love, care, and countenance of the Lord in whom we serve.
