At His Feet

Today we read Haggai 1 & 2, Psalm 129, and Luke 10.

Jesus came to the house of Mary and Martha.  Martha was busy-busy trying to cross all her T's and dot all her I's as a host. Mary sat at the feet of the Lord and listened to Him.  The Lord responed in
Luke 10.41-42- But the Lord answered her, “Martha, Martha, you are anxious and troubled about many things,42 but one thing is necessary. Mary has chosen the good portion, which will not be taken away from her.”

It is easy to get so busy that we miss the main thing.  We need to start our day with the Lord and then  reflect on Him throughout the day.  Anything else that we have on our agenda is second to that and will be enhanced from us taking time with the Lord.  

Sit at His Feet today...whether walking around or plopped down.
