Today we read 1 Samuel 27, Psalm 141, 1 Chronicles 9, and Matthew 10.
My mother always told me that my mouth was going to get me in trouble. It often has.
I tell my daughters that their mouths are going to get them in trouble. It often does.
The Lord warns us today to keep a damper on our mouths, by allowing us to hear the cry of the Psalmist in Psalm 141.3- Set a guard, O Lord, over my mouth, keep watch over the door of my lips!
Oh, be careful little mouths what you say today! Let's please the Lord and others with the words that we say today!
Our day will be more blessed if we do.
