Scattered and Smiling

Today we read I Samuel 6 & 7, Psalm 72, and 2 Corinthians 9.

Let's not spar a seed today.  Let's scatter them as we go.  2 Corinthians 9.6-8-The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work.

Can you imagine the impact that Christians will make when they take what God has stored up in them and take what God has given to them and scatter it around cheerfully like a new, young, anticipating farmer with a hand broadcaster?  There might be big and wonderful things blooming all around us.  Let's take God at His Word today and sow bountifully with cheer and joy in our heart.

People won't know what to think!  It will fun to see their response...especially in the days when that seed starts budding out.

Happy Farming Today!!
