Windshield Reminders

Today, we continue to Prepare 90 Days for Easter (P90E) by reading John 5 and Romans 12.9-12.

I love the bullet points that Paul so often includes in the second half of his letters. It is some of the most challenging Scripture in all the Bible.  Notice Romans 12.10-12-
10 Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor.
11 Do not be slothful in zeal, be fervent in spirit, serve the Lord.
12 Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.

Outdo one another in showing honor.  Isn't that classic!
Don't be slothful in zeal.  So many times I see people spending a lot of time bellyaching and complaining.  What good does that do? What does that do for your testimony?
Allow your zeal to determine your words and actions.  If you lack the zeal you need, use these bullet points to be refrigerator, bathroom mirror, or windshield reminders of the task that is before you today and every day.

Looking forward to worship. We are going to do some dedicating, some celebrating, and some committing. I hope you are a part of it!
