A Victorious Friday

Today we read Jeremiah 31-32 and 1 John 4.

I am hoping for victory today for the football Toppers.  The first game of the year is always an exciting time.

Jeremiah 31.30 serves as a quick reminder for our Friday.  But everyone shall die for his own iniquity.  Each man who eats sour grapes, his teeth shall be set on edge.

Does that feel cold and harsh for your Friday?  It is not meant to.  It just serves as a reminder that your wrongdoing today is only the fault of...you.   We need not blame anyone else.  No excuses today.  If I do wrong, it is on me.

We may find that we have a cleaner, more victorious Friday!  I hope you do.
