Today we read Habakkuk 1-3 and John 8.
They were ready to go after her about her sin. Jesus then dealt with them about their own sins. That broke up the crowd. He then looked at her and spoke life changing words.
John 8.10-11 -Jesus stood up and said to her, “Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?” 11 She said, “No one, Lord.” And Jesus said, “Neither do I condemn you; go, and from now on sin no more.”
He is a forgiving God. He is a life-changing God. What does He expect in return? He expects repentance. He expects us to walk away from our sins and leave them in the same place that others' stones have been dropped. When we do, we walk in freedom. Until then, we will never be free.
