Today we read Jeremiah 48-49, Psalm 67, and John 1.
I am thankful today for a reminder of one of the greatest Biblical truths that I often reflect on I John 1.9- If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
It would be one thing if God was faithful to attempt to do something for us and our sin problem. That effort and thought would be nice. It would be another if God was able and had the power and had paid the price for our sin, our greatest problem. It would be reassuring to serve a God like that. However, that is not the case. We, instead, serve our God who is both willing and able to forgive us of all our sins and cleanse us from every bit of unrighteousness in our lives.
Celebrate that today by being cleansed and by telling others that they can come as they are and be forever changed.
