Regardless

Today we read Jeremiah 3 & 4 and John 11.

Jesus walked up on a horrible scene.  A dear brother and a dear friend had died.  They had called for Christ to come earlier.  He did not come at the time or in the way that they had hoped.  Now it seemed hope was lost.   However, it was not.  Jesus told them in  John 11.40-Jesus said to her, “Did I not tell you that if you believed you would see the glory of God?”

Jesus told them a truth that echoes hope to each and every one of us.
Whether he intervenes today or somewhere in our tomorrows....
Whether it is the way we expect or it is not...
Whether He appears on time or we wonder where He is...
Whether we understand it or we have thoughts of dismay....
Whether it is big and miraculous or small and meaningful....
Regardless of the circumstances, if we will hold out faith that God will intervene or understand that He already has, we will see His Glory.

Whether in this life or the next....
For today, let's take Him at His Word and watch how He works in us.

Have a great day!
