Fall the Right Way

2 Peter 2.17-   These are waterless springs and mists driven by a storm. For them the gloom of utter darkness has been reserved.
We live in a world with a lot of darkness.  Although the ways in which it is revealed may be new to our society, none of those wicked ways are really new to the world.  There have always been the false promises of the evil options.  Each option away from God is as hopeless as a mirage in the desert or a waterless spring.  Each temptation is as shifty and useless as storm driven mists. 
The message:  Don't hold out for the false promises of the world.  Lean hard on our Promises in Christ.  He is not a spring, He is living water.  He is not just a mist, but a good saturating rain of relief that soaks down to the roots. 
Don't fall for the world.  Fall for Jesus!
