The Real Step

It is good to go and good to be back! Today is the the day to get unpacked, grass mowed, and checked up on folks because Sunday is coming- I'm excited. Then Monday is coming and I know the fall is coming. It is time to get prepped for those days. The second half of summer break is the time for fall prep at the church house. It's time. Notice Hebrews 4.15-16- For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin. 16  Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. That does not mean that Jesus is gullible enough to ignore the sin that we are ignoring in our lives. He is not that gullible or unholy. However, when repent (which requires change), He will forgive and allow us to draw near. However, if you are not going to repent or draw near,don't pretend like you are. Be real! God knows your heart! Get right with Him and He walks with you! That is both a comforting and challenging thought!
