Able and Willing

Today we read Hosea 10-12,  Psalm 73, and Hebrews 4.

Some of the most practical help and hope in your life can be found in Hebrews 4.15-16- For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin.16 Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

With that as truth, we have a life to live, a story to tell, and a hope to hold on to.  Unless He could understand...and forgive...and change us...and enable us to come to God and unless He would do all those things, we would be eternally separated from Him.

But He is able and willing to do all those things, so we have no excuse.  We are now able, if we are just willing. Let's get clean before the Lord and live to please Him.
