God Bless America

Today we read 2 Kings 15-16, Hosea 1, and Hebrews 1.

We celebrate the freedom of this great country today. Let's all celebrate what God gave us in America  and pray to preserve what has made America great.    Of  all of the great blessings that has been bestowed upon this country, there is not a blessing greater that the great growth of the Gospel message to reach so many ih of a country.  The light of the Lord has flickered at times but not due to the light of the world, our Lord and Savior, and not due to the oil of our lamp, the Holy Spirit.  The candlesticks, however (Rev. 1), have been weak at times.  Those carrying the light of God's love to others have not always walked in the way that they should or walked through the doors that have been opened for them.  Let's not let anything hinder us in carrying the hope of Christ to others.  It is the greatest way to celebrate the freedom of this land.

Hebrews 1.1-2 remind us this morning about the One that speaks to us. Hebrews 1.1-2- Long ago, at many times and in many ways, God spoke to our fathers by the prophets, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed the heir of all things, through whom also he created the world.

As He speaks to us, let us share with others.  God, please bless America!
