Today we read Isaiah 8-10 and Hebrews 8.
I have been walking through a valley with some very dear folks the last couple of days. A distressing health report turns a life on its edge. Dear God, may we see your Hand at work.
He answers that prayer today.
He has not answered with good reports...yet.
He has not answered with miracles this time...yet.
He has answered in His Word, which is manner that He often answers in. For me it is Isaiah 8.18 today- I will wait for the Lord, who is hiding his face from the house of Jacob, and I will hope in him.
If you too are waiting on an answer from God or on the evidence of His Hand at work, take His Word for what it is- a solid foundation to build your life on...even in the valley.
Well, especially in the valley.
Put your hope in God today.
