A Real Washing

Today we read 2 Samuel 18, Psalm 56, and Matthew 27.

Matthew 27.24- So when Pilate saw that he was gaining nothing, but rather that a riot was beginning, he took water and washed his hands before the crowd, saying, “I am innocent of this man's blood; see to it yourselves.”
You cannot wash your hands of your part in the Lord's death.  He died for your sins. He died so that you could be free.  Your sin and your decision toward Him is not anybody else's fault.   The blood is on your own hands.
The good news is that you can be washed clean by surrendering your life to the Lord Jesus and allowing Him to cleanse you completely.

Don't wash your hands of it.  Let Him wash you clean!
