Today we read 1 Kings 1, 1 Chronicles 28, Psalm 91, and 1 Thessalonians 5. (www.lifejournal.cc)
We need to be careful not to be 'asleep at the wheel' during these changing days of our lives and of our world. We live in volatile days but we also live in days of opportunity. People need the Lord. The Holy Spirit still works in hearts. We still have little ones we need to train up. We still have neighbors we need to share with. We see have the freedom to worship, a commission to fulfill, and a hope to share. Let's not nod off during these days of difference.
Paul put it this way in 1 Thessalonians 5.6- So then let us not sleep, as others do, but let us keep awake and be sober.
